Curious to walk, a toddler falls while trying to figure out his steps, a pregnant woman huffs and puffs dejectedly while trying to push the baby during delivery.
These failures are essential. The failure helps the toddler eventually find the balance and the failure guides the mother to finally take a deep breath and push enough to bring her baby into this world.
if we stay in tune, there’s a lot to learn.
Failure is the service of learning.
When is the last time you stood before a mirror, looked into your eyes, and said:
I AM ______________
Smart
Talented
Beautiful
Strong
Prosperous
Highly Favored

Do you take the time to let who you are sink into your subconscious until mental images match your declarations? Engage with your inner giant and feel your energy transform. Be clear about the person you see before you:
Smart
Talented
Beautiful
Strong
Prosperous
Highly Favored
....and believe it.
Own it.
When the sun is shining, Anoop and I comment, repeatedly, just how beautiful the day is. I love to close my eyes, take a deep breath, and feel the sunshine on my face. It's not uncommon for our 2-year-young to say it's a beautiful day when it's just that--beautiful. Yet the other day, the weather was nasty, cold, and ugly. A husband and wife team proposed their invention, a functional sippy cup for infants and toddlers, in hopes of receiving additional funding from the sharks to grow their product. The sharks appear intimidating and overwhelm each 'contestant' with a number of questions to determine not only growth potential but also a love for the product at hand. The commitment, passion, and tenacity was evident in this couple. I was so inspired by this husband and wife duo. Their appearance on the show, alone, strongly suggested that they kept moving forward despite sleepless nights, fear, uncertainty, and doubt. I wanted such role models in our life...

This is especially true when we don't know, beforehand, what will happen from our decisions. Then, we have feelings. Oh goodness, those. They can be overwhelming. And there are so many. Often they mesh together to create a whirlwind of emotions at a single time. And of course, there are life's events. All the ups and downs and twists and turns and do-overs can be a bit daunting. Furthermore we have to learn from them in order to move forward just a tad bit wiser. Regarding the less fortunate events, is that even fair? Taking two...
